RITA leadership joined the National Technical Association (NTA) in celebrating its 100th anniversary and a century of advancing excellence in science, engineering, and technology. The celebration also highlighted the longstanding relationship between NTA and Howard University and their shared commitment to supporting generations of technical leaders.
RITA Executive Director Dr. Sonya T. Smith and Dr. Donnell Walton, Chief Technology Officer and Deputy Director, attended the centennial celebration. During the event, Dr. Smith presented a historical timeline tracing key milestones in NTA’s 100-year history, its relationship with Howard University, and the legacy that continues through efforts such as RITA today.
